Hunter Mathews is an analog photographer from Los Angeles, based in New York City. She received a BFA from New York University and is an alum of the Eddie Adams Workshop. Working across documentary, portraiture, and editorial, she builds long-term projects with friends, family, and community, collaborating closely with subjects to create personal, empathetic narratives. Her work highlights visibility, the emotional weight of ordinary life, and analog photography's relevance, exploring adolescence, intimacy, and liberation.
